Children under five have the highest fire fatality risk

study by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) finds that children ages 14 and under accounted for 13 percent of fire deaths in 2007.  Fire injuries affected an estimated 1,900 children and nearly 510 children under the age of 15 died as a result of fires that year. read more

New documentary makes teens aware of the dangers of texting while driving

Research from the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute shows motorists who text face a 23 times greater risk of a crash or near crash.
