A study recently shared at the 2022 American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference & Exhibition indicated that teenagers were prone to risky behaviors while driving, including speeding and cellphone use. In fact, the study showed that 40% of teen driving trips included speeding, while over 30% of driving instances included cellphone use. read more

Each year, over 2 million poisoning cases are reported in the United States, many of which are preventable. An average of 31 children die from unintended poisonings at home and an estimated 75,000 children under the age of five end up in hospital emergency departments from poisoning. read more

According to Concussion.org, between 1.6 and 3.6 million recreational and sports-related concussions occur in the United States each year. On top of that, 90% of sports-related concussions take place without loss of consciousness and 40% of athletes return to play before they should. read more
